Lady Luck: Part 14 (HOODY X READER)
Mornings. They can be good or bad. Sometimes you wake up totally wide-eyed and ready for the day, not feeling an ounce of sleepiness. Others, your eyes refuse to open and you just know that you’ll be tired all day long. This particular morning started off like one of the latter types.
When I woke up from another night of dreamless sleep, I found myself sitting hunched over with my head buried in my arms, my eyes crusted shut. I didn’t bother trying to open them yet, knowing from experience that the sand in my eyes would try to attack my eyeballs. Waiting a few minutes to wake up a little more, eventually I lifted

Generic washed-out navy blue filled the corner of the screen, the white font on it asking for new text. Quickly changing the background to black, I randomly mashed the keyboard to make sure I could type in the text box before turning to Tim. “Okay, what should I type?”
“Whatever you have to,” he replied simply. “Just make it clear I’m not involved.”
“Right.” Nodding, I turned back to the laptop to start typing. His request was simple: create a short video stating he wouldn’t get involved with Marble Hornets anymore. Yet for all its simplicity, it was one of

((A/N: Before beginning, I want to remind everyone that this story uses a slightly altered version of Marble Hornets. It's identical up until Entry 80. This is done to avoid spoiling readers on the ending of the series, as well as make certain events in the story more feasible. For more information, click here to see a journal entry on the subject. Thanks! Enjoy~))

((A/N: Sorry to interrupt your reading, but after getting a lot of confused responses I want to let you know that I wrote a big journal entry discussing Marble Hornets and its role in Lady Luck. If you have any questions, go here to read it. Carry on now!))
“You were part of Marble Hornets.”
Those words seemed to echo through the room as they left my mouth, a heavy silence suddenly seeming to fall over us. In retrospect, maybe it should have been obvious, but not once had it crossed my mind while reading about the series. “Tim” was a pretty common name after all

“Don’t fall asleep, (Name)... Just stay awake...”
I grumbled to myself under my breath as I leaned my head against the window of the bus, desperately fighting against my drooping eyelids to stay awake. Another night had passed, and thanks to my newfound awareness of my sleepwalking it had been a pretty rough one. In a very meta twist, throughout the night I kept dreaming that I was sleepwalking, and would wake up while trying to stop myself. So yeah, not one of my better nights, and by morning I wasn’t exactly “rested”.
Drowsy or not, though, I still had a bus to catch. Checking th

I tapped the pencil on the table as I stared at the blank sheet of paper, slouched over deep in thought. After spending most of the night thinking over my next move, I’d returned to the library the next morning with a new plan. Random searches didn’t seem like they would be too effective given the limited time I had to use the computers, so instead I decided to take a more direct approach and ask about it.
Hundreds of millions of people populate the internet. Surely someone knew something about this thing. The problem was just how to get their attention. My plan was simple: I’d post my story on Reddit and ho

Luck tends to run along a scale with two ends: good and bad. Most of my experiences involve the “god-awful” end of that scale, to the point that I’m left largely desensitized to it. Near-death experiences can get surprisingly normal after escaping from disasters completely unscathed so many times. However, while bad luck tends to dominate my experiences, that doesn’t mean I don’t have any experience with good luck. Actually, it’s quite the opposite.
For me, luck always balances out. For every disaster I face, at some point afterwards I’ll run into something good. Vending machines will

Click, clack, click, clack...
The keys of the keyboard noisily clicked as Hoody typed away, his gaze focused on the screen with an intense concentration. For once his mask was absent, stuffed into his pocket to avoid rousing attention while he used the computer at a public library. He had his own laptop for personal use, acquired from the belongings of a very forgetful camper, but he didn’t usually have an internet connection. And while he could always take it to a McDonald’s to get wi-fi or something, he’d rather not risk the laptop being traced.
Opening YouTube, he was vaguely surprised to find th
